About Tanglewood TWCR O Crossroad Orchestra Acoustic Guitar
The Crossroads series honors the style and sound of classic American instruments from the 1930s. Michael Sanden carefully chose the materials and measured the tops to flex and respond to the player's attack. He used his own patterns to brace the instrument and give each guitar its own unique character. The goal was to create a guitar with a sound that any musician, whether professional or amateur, would appreciate. To give the Crossroads an authentic 1930s look, Michael applied a dark stain known as Whiskey Barrel to the materials, resulting in a historically reminiscent and elegantly simple appearance.
