Exactly what you expect

It's pretty much a global standard and it's easy to see why. It performs excellently, and is exactly what you expect, and does not break the bank. Great product.

Not much one can say that has not been said... You can do vocals, use it for instruments, recording, it is solid as a rock.
It's the vocal mic!

I bought a couple of cheaper vocal mics before for rehearsals but I never was happy with them , the minute I plugged the 58 I said that's it , it cuts through the mix, no handle noise , its build like a tank and it doesn't scream with feed back as easy as the others.
It's the industry standard for a reason!
